Why do I need a Mobile App?

Having a web presence alone is no longer sufficient as online activity continues to shift at a rapid rate to mobile. Smartphone apps have become too important a marketing tool for small business owners to do without.

Mobile apps make it easier for customers to access your business. They are faster, more efficient and easier to use, thus reducing the time required to interact.

What should I put in the App?

We have packaged our Apps with a list of tried and tested features that will meet many companies’ needs (see our features list and packages below). If you need something else specific, talk to us and we’ll see if we can build it.

But I have a website...

Your website may not be optimised for mobile devices and users go a long way to find you. They have to think of your brand, type a web address or, Google it first, and then wait for it to load before accessing your content. Then repeat the entire process each time they want to find you again. An App is just a finger tip away!

Can I update the App myself?

We will give you access to your App’s Content Management System so you can add posts and articles, videos, pictures and vouchers.  Or if you’d prefer it, we will do the updates for you. Talk to us about a monthly plan that will suit your needs.

What about iPhone and Android versions?

Because Apps work on different phones and operating systems, you’ll need one version for Apple IOS (iPhones) and one for Android (Samsungs, Huaweis, HTCs). Our packages include both versions from one set of code.

What is the process?

  • We get a brief from you about what features you want in the App
  • You compile the content and the images/videos (or tell us where to find them) while we create a design template
  • We build your content into the App
  • We give you a test version of the App and we both work through that and tweak things until you are happy
  • We submit the App to the App Stores and send you the links to download it
  • Spread the word to friends, colleagues and customers that you now have an App and start on your new marketing journey!

How long will it take?

Generally the most time consuming part of the process is getting the content together and fine tuning the design. But once this is done the building of the App goes quite quickly. As a rough guide work on 4-6 weeks from start to finish.
